Crew from Pickering responded to reports of a fire under a tree. On arrival crew found this to be a controlled burn under supervision but extinguished using 1 hose reel jet due to proximity to tree.

Crews from Danby and Lythe responded to a motorcycle accident where the rider had come off the bike and the bike had caught fire. Crew extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet and asisted ambulance crews to transfer casualty to air ambulance.

Crews from Northallerton and Bedale responded to reports of a truck on fire. They extinguished using 1 hose reel jet and administered first aid to the driver who had suffered a burn to his hand.

Crew from Richmond assisted ambulance crews with the difficult extrication of a patient from their property to an ambulance. Crew power used.

Crew from Scarborough attended a car on fire. Crew used 1 hose reeljet and 1 branch to extinguish.

During the day crews from Acomb and Knaresbrough responded to automatic fire alarm activations across the county. These resulted in false alarms.
