Internationally, the action flick has earned $587.9 million, for a global total of $1.19 billion. Maverick is currently ranked 11th in initial-run North American box-office earnings of all time. Miguel Rojas from the Marlins’ has one less tooth in his head after a play at second base. The wild scene all went down in the 9th inning of the Marlins’ afternoon tilt with the Pirates … when Pittsburgh star Oneil Cruz attempted to steal second base. Rojas had a routine play at second, applied the tag, got him and then with Cruz who slid into the bag feet first well he rose up and accidentally cracked Rojas in the mouth with his helmet. The video is on the blog which shows Cruz’s head hit Rojas’ so hard — it sent a tooth flying out of his mouth and onto the infield dirt. Rojas was forced to leave the game following the collision.
